Six Sigma Implementation and Deployment

North Haven Group (NHG) provides comprehensive consulting and Six Sigma Implementation and Deployment training for industry and service organizations. NHG's main focus is the delivery of Six Sigma education and training materials, but it also provides a variety of related Six Sigma Implementation and Deployment services.

NHG runs in-house and public courses on Six Sigma and continuous improvement.

While Six Sigma focuses on improving product and process quality by finding and eliminating sources of variation, Lean/Flow Manufacturing focuses on eliminating waste from a disordered environment. Lean tools help companies create organization by placing sequential processes in a flow and delivering material to the point of use via kanban techniques. Excellent cost saving benefits are achieved through Lean/Flow Manufacturing, including reductions in lead-time, inventory and cost of quality, while improving productivity. Once implemented, companies see radical improvement.

Taken together, Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing are a powerful combination. NHG and FlowVision, recognized experts in these two areas, have developed a joint Lean Six Sigma program. Our two companies have developed a program that stresses an initial high-level Lean/Flow implementation, followed by the combined use of Lean and techniques to increment and maintain the initial gains.

With over 50 years of combined experience, the partners of NHG provide a unique combination of outstanding academic credentials and expertise in the application of statistical techniques and continuous improvement methods.

In-house courses are tailored to your company's needs. A course list is given to the right.

In addition to Instruction and Training, NHG provides other services and products dealing with the application of statistical methods in manufacturing.

NHG provides a range of services in the application of statistical methods. Of particular interest is NHG's focus on Data Mining.

Data Mining is the analysis of large observational data sets to find unapparent relationships.

In addition to Data Mining, NHG provides other services, and products, dealing with the application of statistical methods in manufacturing.

Data Mining is an exciting area aimed at discovering new and useful knowledge from large, even massive, databases, usually consisting of observational data. Such databases are multi-dimensional and often consist of unruly data. Consequently, traditional statistical analysis of these databases is usually not productive and sometimes not even possible.

NHG associates have experience with such databases and can "mine your data" to help your company model important characteristics or discover precious nuggets of knowledge!

NHG provides BlackBelt, GreenBelt, and YellowBelt training. It also provides training in technical topics such as Design of Experiments. Training provided on site is tailored to your company's needs.

Sampling Overview, This is a two-day training session covering the basics of inference for a binomial probability and the mean of a continuous population. Sampling from finite and infinite populations is addressed.

JMP Statistical Software Instruction, Instruction in the use of JMP statistical software in the context of statistical methods of value to the client. Emphasis on how to obtain and interpret results using JMP, rather than on developing an understanding of the underlying statistical concepts. This training is provided on a customized basis.

Statistical Methods Customized Instruction, We provide training on most statisitcal methods including basic inferential tools (tests and confidence intervals), sampling, regression, non-parametrics, reliability, and multivariate methods.
